As part of my dissertation project, I designed and created a fictional, abandoned Molotov-making machine. This project showcased my ability to conceptualise, model, texture, and render a detailed environment within a game engine.
All aspects of the machine and its environment were developed by me: the model was crafted in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and the scene was constructed and rendered within Unreal Engine 5.
This project demonstrates my proficiency in modular asset creation, realistic texturing, and lighting within a real-time environment. It allowed me to combine technical expertise with creative storytelling, resulting in a visually compelling scene that aligned with my dissertation’s narrative goals.
